I Lurve '24'!
How much do I lurve the TV show '24'? This is how much...
In Lisbon as we were getting ready to go out on New Year's Eve, we discovered that '24' was playing in English on one of the channels. I was so completely engrossed with the series that I was swayed by the idea of staying in and just watching '24'! Of course, that wasn't going to happen on NYE in Lisbon!
I was happily watching '24' when Lisa asked, "What time is it?"
Without thinking, I answere promptly, "2:30AM."
Confused, Lisa answered, "Huh?"
If you watch '24', you'll know that each episode is one hour of a day. So '24' is actually 24 one-hour episodes in real-time. One episode could be "9AM-10AM" or in this case, I was in the middle of the "2AM-3AM" episode. Lisa meant what time it was in REALITY and not in my '24' TV LAND! DOH!
Anyway, I watched a lot of the 3rd season this past weekend. Both roomies were out on the SKIESE weekend in Andorra. I opted out because I was travel worn from going to Bulgaria and knew that I would be busy for the next couple of weekends with my cousin Pauline in town (stop panting, Ethan!) and I'll see Lisa for a couple of nights, too. I'm going to meet Pauline next weekend in Lyon, France, which I'm really looking forward to. France is a country I need to explore more.
In any case, it was nice having the flat to myself. I worked on cover letters and did some work but not as much as I would've liked. I managed to go out both nights and had a great time! It was really nice with a lot of IESE people gone. Sometimes you just need that break from people and check out. Then you appreciate them a lot more when they're back. I'm sure everyone is really appreciating me, right?!?
